On November 6, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee issued a notice approving the establishment of new postdoctoral research stations. Four postdoctoral research stations, namely, Mathematics, Physics, Cyberspace Security, and Control Science and Engineering, were successfully approved. So far,we have had seven postdoctoral research stations, covering all aspects of double first-class construction support disciplines, providing an important assistance to the university in high-level discipline construction and excellent and innovative young talents cultivation.
Postdocs are the reserve army of the national strategic talent force. Postdoctoral research station is an important support for the implementation of the strategy of strengthening the university with talents and an important platform for gathering high-level innovative young talents. The establishment of the postdoctoral research station marks a new step in the construction of our university.
NJUPT will take this opportunity to further implement the management systems of the state and Jiangsu Province on postdoctoral work, improve policies and measures, sound working mechanism, optimize services and guarantees, solidly promote the transformation of postdoctoral scientific research achievements, continuously improve the level of postdoctoral work, and strive to cultivate a number of high-level innovative young talents, so as to provide innovative impetus and talent support for the construction of a world-class university with distinctive characteristics in the field of electronics and information technology.
