Nature Reports the New Achievements of the Research on the Perovskite Light-emitting Diodes Made by Academician Huang Wei and His Team

Recently, another major breakthrough has been made by the IAM team led by Academician Huang Wei, member of the Institute of Information Materials and Nanotechnology of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and the State Key Laboratory of Organic Electronics and Information Display established by provincial administration and ministry together, and Professor Wang Jianpu of Nanjing University of Technology, in the field of perovskite light-emitting diodes (The LED).

For the first time in the world, they have spontaneously formed discrete sub-micron-scale perovskites, which has greatly improved the light extraction efficiency of LEDs and demonstrated unique application potential in low-cost, high-brightness, large-scale LED fields.
